Could you tell us a bit about yourself? I come from a pretty diverse background. My dad is Japanese and my mother’s side is European. I’m originally from Southern California but I have lived in a number of amazing cities like Chicago and New Orleans. I love yoga, and all sports, and my passion is cooking.
Can you give us a background on your modeling career and where it all started? I wouldn’t call modeling my career, but I have always been a fan of Playboy. I love Playboy’s history and everything it represents. It was a dream come true to shoot with Playboy and an experience I’ll never forget.
What’s your favorite quote that you’d like to share with your fans? “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives” Jackie Robinson.
Tell us what kind of music you find yourself typically listening to? I love music! You can find me listening to classical music while I’m cooking or singing my heart out to oldies or R&B! I love music with beats when I’m working out or running.
Do you have any hidden talents, if so what is it? A few years ago, I got into to sculpting and I love it! My medium is clay, and I have a pretty wide range of things I can sculpt! From a bird bath to a bust of someone’s face.
In what ways do you use your platform to inspire or influence others? I have always been vocal about the importance of living life to the fullest and not letting the constraints of society dictate what you do or how you live. You only live once, make it count.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them. I do! I love animals! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats! They have so much personality and probably a little too much power over me.
How did you prepare mentally for this photoshoot? I have a great support system of friends and family who have been so encouraging throughout this entire process. The photographer, Mike Cohen is amazing to work with and everyone there made me feel so special. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
What is your ideal way to spend a day? I just love to be with my family and friends. My loved ones are everything to me. It doesn’t matter where I am or what I’m doing, as long as I’m surrounded by people I love, I’m happy.
What’s your most memorable travel experience? A few years ago, I traveled to Egypt and saw the pyramids and climbed Mount Sinai. It was the most amazing experience. Watching the sunrise from the summit of Mount Sinai was beyond words.
If you were stranded on a deserted island with only one accessory, what would it be? I would hope for a satellite phone.
What’s your go-to guilty pleasure snack?Cheetos…. I love my snackeroos.
Thanks for taking the time to speak to us, do you have any last words or advice for our readers? Always remember…The most important thing isn’t the journey or the destination. It’s the company.
