We’re happy to have you on the cover of Playboy! Can you give us a bit of a background on your career as a model and where it all started? After high school graduation, my family went on a vacation to St. Barths. My mother and I saw a runway set up outside in a resort so we sort of snuck in and she coaxed me to get on the runway and pretend to be a model. She snapped some photos and we laughed it off. But it actually stuck with me and when a modeling opportunity arose in college I jumped on it and absolutely fell in love. I took many years off but when I started my feature entertainer career, I started to take modeling a lot more seriously. I’ve done many cover shoots, but Playboy has been a dream since I was very young!
Having a full schedule must make it difficult for you to get much alone time, talk to us about the top 3 must-dos to ensure you fit in some well-deserved downtime? I am an extremely busy person as the current reigning Miss Nude World and traveling showgirl but I absolutely love everything about that! But it’s true that having some downtime is important. One of the main things I make time for is outdoor activities like snowmobiling in the winter and relaxing on the water in the summer either on my pontoon or in my kayak! My daily morning walk with my rescue fur babies is also so important to get my head clear and set goals for the day. The dogs are so happy, and it helps me start the day off with a positive energy. Also, once a week I try to find live music! I enjoy being social, meeting new people, and music feeds my soul! I have a ton of friends who are musicians, so I love to unwind with some Tequila, dance, and support their passion.
What does it mean for you to be seen as a strong, intelligent, ambitious woman? I am all about women supporting women! So often you see females just bashing or putting each other down. Why?!?! We should be encouraging each other and bringing positivity to the world. Build each other up instead of tearing them down. I think it’s important to be comfortable in my own skin, in order to be uplifting to others. Women need to learn to love themselves and take responsibility for their own happiness. If you want something, work for it! Hard work pays off and when you achieve your goals through hard work that is something to be so proud of.
What are some of the biggest misconceptions people have about what you do? As far as modeling goes I have heard people say “oh that would be so easy to just take pretty pictures.” They do not realize how hard it actually is. You have to put your body into unnatural poses and hold it and make sure you can’t see the pain on your face. You end up sore in muscles you didn’t even know you have. For dancing, people tend to think that I’m doing it because I can’t do anything else or that I need to be saved. In reality, I have multiple degrees and have had careers in the normal workforce. I choose to dance for the fact that I have freedom in my life and you make as much money as you want to work for. People tend to think that dancing is always just a party. Yes, it can be fun and I definitely enjoy having some tequila with customers at work but it is actually a very physically and mentally challenging job. I love what I do but it definitely isn’t as easy as people tend to think. What does freedom of self-expression mean to you? That I can be myself and express my opinions and feelings without fear. We are all unique individuals with different ideas, and sharing them freely allows us to learn about each other. I am so blessed to work in an industry that fully accepts self-expression as an art form!
We absolutely love your Instagram, your content is very dynamic, inspirational, and downright sexy, could you perhaps tell us what your personal experience as an influencer has been like? Sometimes I find it odd that this many people follow my social media and are interested in my life. I am just a regular girl trying to do my job to the best of my ability. I am extremely grateful for all my fans and really do enjoy connecting with them!
3 things that you can’t go a day without… Iced Black Coffee, cuddles with my fur babies, and quality outdoor time to get some fresh air!
What about those crazy DMs you must receive! Care to share a few funny stories regarding those? I love being in touch with my fans on social media but yes there is definitely some crazy messages that come through. I have been proposed to more times than I can count, been offered trips with complete strangers, offered houses, cars, anything materialistic you can think of. One specific guy comes to mind because he messaged me wanting to confess to me that at night he turns into a dragon and burns down cities. I was very intrigued as to how far his fantasy went so I coaxed him a little and ended up having a pretty interesting conversation and realizing he totally believes he really is a dragon at night!
Now we’re sure you experience a lot of male attention on and offline, any advice you would like to give to men out there who are hoping to catch your eye the right way? To make a good impression on me is to properly introduce yourself, maintain eye contact, smile, and be able to hold an intellectual conversation. You have to be confident but not cocky and be able to make me laugh! I am so much more attracted to a man’s personality and swagger than their physical appearance.
What is the absolute worst thing a man can do to completely put you off? If a man is rude or arrogant that is an absolute turn-off. I despise bullies and negativity.
That said, what advice would you have to give to all women out there when it comes to love and relationships. Do not force a relationship. Before you can be happy in love you need to be happy with yourself! Be honest upfront with who you are and communicate what you actually want from the relationship. Communication is key to making sure you are both on the same page and can grow your relationship into something special!
Thank you so much for sitting down with us and letting us get to know you! Any last words for our readers out there? I am so thankful for this opportunity. Without my fans, none of this would be possible. Thank you for all your support. I am so fortunate to have the love and support of some amazing businesses in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Erin’s Pub and Grub, Jenna Jane music, and Lickity Splitz Gentleman’s Club helped me achieve this dream of being in Playboy!
